A46. An elongated pile of boulders up to 1 m in size is located in the intertidal area. Some blocks may be dressed/quarried but it is difficult to ascertain as they are limpet covered and natural rock fractures in a regular fashion. The feature measures c. 25 m by 10 m in an N-S orientation with a small E-W line of boulders off the S end.
ShoreUPDATE 06-10-2015:
As described. The boulders are similar to the boulder alignment on the foreshore that marks the municipal boundary between Prestwick and Ayre at the Bell Rock just to the south and so could be a former land boundary now in the intertidal zone, because of coastal change.
