Description

No information given in CZAS report. 16/09/13 Circular or oval thick walled sandstone structure, with hard light grey mortar rich in shell inclusions, approx 6m diameter. Built into north side of stream valley. East side still recognisable as a structure. West side much tumbled. Identified on the 1st edition 6 inch OS as the ruins of Barns Mill.
Area much more overgrown with gorse since 2014
