Description

Collapsed broch tower on east-facing coast edge, with two defensive ramparts enclosing the structure from the landward side. Traces of stone structures built against the rampart to the west, and possible structures outside defences on slope. The seaward arc of the broch wall is now eroding and stonework is exposed in the coast edge, with mural cells visible in the eroding wall. The eroding face also cuts through the ramparts and ditches to expose the defences in section, including stone revetments facing the banks and ditch.
