Freswick, Freswick Bay, anti tank blocks (13539)
Description
| There is a short arc of anti-tank blocks on the shore immediately to the N of the mouth of the Burn of Freswick. Information from RCAHMS (DCC) 3 October 2005 Site visit 06/05/2017 As described, part of same system of defences as 13505; anti-tank blocks, with pimples in front. Front row of pimples now partly undermined by erosion, with foundations exposed, and some blocks collapsed. |
