Description

Drystone walling with orthostats visible along an approximate 10-20m section of the coast edge. Covered in midden material, containing frequent shell and animal bone in a peat ashy matrix. A fragment of rotary quern was noted at the site. These remains are highly likely to be settlement associated with the broch [site 12899] located around 50m to the north, on the other side of a small rocky outcrop.
