Description

Drystone jetty approximately 3m wide and 15m long. Constructed with large boulders, only the foundation course of which survives. Evidence of a cleared area on the north side. Stonework dislodged and the whole structure now in the intertidal area and covered with seaweed.

Historical research and more detailed survey. This is one of 3 stone jetties along a short stretch of coastline. It would be interesting to find out more about their date and function and how they relate to landward features and sites. assign priority 3 on basis of group value with 12534, 12536, 12558
