Pettycur's ancient harbour revealed

The original harbour at Pettycur was destroyed in a storm in March 1625. In October this year, shifting sand exposed stonework spread across the beach.  Thanks to a call from a local resident and research by the local community, the structures can be identified as the remains of Pettycur's 17th century harbour.
