Storm battered coasts an opportunity for new archaeological discoveries
January 25th, 6:13 p.m.
The start of 2014 has seen stormy weather and high seas making the headlines across the UK. These are the weather events that cause the dramatic changes to our coastlines overnight - and have the potential to reveal new archaeological discoveries. Skara Brae is just one example of a site revealed after such a storm. Our appeal for members of the public to check their local beaches and send us photographs and updates of what's changed had great coverage on the news and a great response from you. Thank you!
