The SCHARP Team have just got back from Dumfries and Galloway where we ran two ShoreUPDATE training days for local volunteers, and discovered some unusual and fascinating coastal heritage sites, including the slipways of a very rare flying boat base at Wig Bay. This sign was one of the highlights - since the ferries no longer pass here it's technically an archaeological site, but Ellie still seemed to be a little worried at the prospect of giant waves!
